One of the features on Happn is CrushTime, a gamified experience to love

The market for love/ dating apps is fairly saturated — Tinder, OkCupid, Paktor, Coffee Meets Bagels, Hinge, Bumble, Kippo, LetsGaiGai and more. Commonly the pain point about going on such apps is swiping fatigue. You are fed a fairly reductive profile: a name, a picture, some badges of hobbies, a good description if you are lucky. And the mindless swipe left-right, left-right begins.

Look at the options — I almost forgot even Facebook entered the fray

While doing research for design sprints, one example was particularly outstanding: Happn

The idea of hyper-geolocation was vaguely creepy from a privacy perspective but yet super intriguing. I guess if we already do permit ride hailing to have our location, surely downloading the app to…
